About our PastoR

Our pastor has been leading our worship on Sunday morning at 11 am since January 2021.

Iván Gonzalez comes to Broadway UMC from Spring of Life UMC at Lake Nona and is a Mental Health Counselor. He is married, the father of a son of 4 years, and daughter on the way!  The Gonzalez family resides in Lake Nona. Pastor Iván’s office hours are from 10 am-1 pm Mondays.

Appointments may be made at alternative times by calling the office, emailing, or joining us on Sunday morning at 11 am, to discuss with him in person after the worship service.  Due to Covid-19 numbers rising again, and while we are waiting for everyone to have the opportunity to become vaccinated so our society can develop collective immunity,  we ask that everyone sit 6 feet apart from those who do not reside with you and wear a face mask. Face masks are provided as you enter if you need one. Not everyone wears one and most are vaccinated at our 11 am service.

We are looking forward to gathering in many celebrations when the Covid Pandemic subsides and it is once again safe to celebrate with Pastor Iván and his family.  We hope that many years of tenure will provide us with ample opportunities to express our appreciation. Until then, we worship together with our hearts,  music, community, scripture, and prayer.

We all are thankful that we are alive and worshipping together again! Come join us! Great Sunday Messages to start your week! We welcome Pastor, Iván Gonzalez.

What People say

"Broadway is a loving, caring, community-minded group that welcomes me to feel included in journeying with them. They invite my ideas, respect my space, and include me in the hope & celebration of life while learning about God's plan together "
